Happy Fourth of July! Breeze Airways greets summer with these flight deals

If you’re from the Treasure Coast area and are traveling up to the Northeast this July, Breeze Airways has you covered.

Breeze Airways offers select flights to eight destinations from Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB). For those further down south, eight more routes are available from Palm Beach International (PBI) in West Palm Beach.

The budget airline provides service to ten airports across Florida, including Fort Myers, Daytona Beach and a recently added Key West route, which began service in June.

Though Treasure Coast International Airport (FPR) received its Part 139 Airport Operating certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration last October, residents still await an official announcement on commercial passenger flights out of the Fort Pierce airport.

Does Breeze Airways provide service to Treasure Coast International Airport?

Breeze Airways does not currently provide service to Treasure Coast International Airport (FPR) in Fort Pierce.

The St. Lucie County airport “primarily serves the general aviation and corporate flights community,” helping with aircraft maintenance and storage, flight training school, air taxi and charter services and more, as stated on its website.

However, in October 2024, FPR received its Part 139 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration and was cleared for takeoff for commercial passenger flights.

No commercial airlines fly out of Treasure Coast International Airport as of yet.
