Lely outscored Collier rival Immokalee, South Fort Myers shut down Cypress Lake and Dunbar escaped with a win at Lehigh.
Those were just some of the top storylines from Week 7 of the 2025 high school football season in Southwest Florida.
To honor the players who stood out, The News-Press and Naples Daily News hand out their Game Balls for the top efforts each week. Here are those players for this week’s games.
Jadell Carter and Cornelius Tims, South Fort Myers
The junior linemen led a ferocious defensive effort, combining for a half-dozen sacks, as the Wolfpack topped rival Cypress Lake.
Ty Collins, Lely
Collins rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 122 yards and another score as the Trojans topped Immokalee.
Arrie Davis Jr., LaBelle
Davis Jr. returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the Cowboys’ win over Discovery. He now has six picks on the season.
Derek Hooker, Cape Coral
Hooker passed for 200 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another score as the Seahawks topped Mariner in the Black and Blue Bowl.
Marshon Jackson, Immokalee
Jackson had six catches for 135 yards and a touchdown in the Indians’ loss to rival Lely.
Craighan Mitchell, SFCA
Mitchell rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns in the King’s shutout win over First Baptist.
Andre Moss, Dunbar
Moss caught four passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns and also returned the opening kickoff for a score to lead the Tigers past Lehigh.
Julian Rodriguez, Gulf Coast
Rodriguez scored two rushing touchdowns and gained 63 yard on the ground as the Sharks beat Barron Collier.
Brandon Seabrook, Dunbar
Seabrook completed 13 of his 18 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers’ win at Lehigh.
Sam Sparacio, Naples
The running back led the Golden Eagles with 180 rushing yards and two touchdowns in their 34-7 win over Fort Myers.
