After announcing its big 2026-27 season lineup on June 17, Opening Nights at Florida State University still has a couple of new acts up its sleeve. Tickets for comedian Jeff Arcuri’s show on April 11 will go on sale Thursday, June 25. Tickets for Grammy-nominated duo Black Violin’s Oct. 8 show at The Moon go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26.
Comedian Jeff Arcuri
Comedian Jeff Arcuri will come to Ruby Diamond Concert Hall for a 7 p.m. show on Sunday, April 11, 2027, as part of his Road Trip Tour.
As seen on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Arcuri has become one of comedy’s most exciting rising voices. Arcuri will soon bring his stand-up to audiences worldwide with the premiere of his special this summer.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, at openingnights.fsu.edu.
Black Violin’s ‘Be Free Tour’
Grammy-nominated duo Black Violin will bring their “Be Free Tour” to Tallahassee as part of the Opening Nights at Florida State University 2026–2027 season, “Stories Worth Telling.” The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at The Moon. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, at openingnights.fsu.edu.
The Be Free Tour is a high-energy, genre-defying experience that merges Black Violin’s classical training with the pulse of hip-hop — a performance both powerful and deeply inspiring. Grammy-nominated duo Wil Baptiste (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin) invite audiences into a night of boundary-breaking music where soaring strings, bold beats, and messages of authenticity and self-expression take center stage.
More than a concert, the Be Free Tour is a celebration of individuality, creativity, and connection — encouraging audiences to let go, be fully themselves, and experience the transformative power of music together.
