Four-star recruit Grayson Williams is arguably the top interior offensive lineman in the 2028 recruiting cycle, and the FSU Seminoles are in heavy pursuit of the Raleigh, North Carolina, product.
Florida State was one of the first schools to offer him a scholarship, doing so back on Jan. 8, 2025. They will now get a chance to host him on his first visit to Tallahassee, which will be for a game. According to Anna Adams of 247Sports, he will attend FSU’s game against the NC State Wolfpack on Nov. 21 in Doak Campbell Stadium.
While he has not yet announced his finalists or trimmed his offer list at all, he is visiting these schools intentionally.
“I don’t have a set top list of schools, but I definitely chose these schools for a reason,” Williams told 247Sports. “I want to make sure these schools get the attention that they deserve.”
He is ranked as the No. 46 overall player and No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder is also the No. 3 player from North Carolina.
The Seminoles have two commitments in the 2028 recruiting cycle already in three-star athlete Chayse Brown and three-star tight end Troy Silberzahn, but are working to get an early start along the offensive line. That is an area they have struggled to recruit lately, with Herb Hand still looking for his first commitment in the 2027 cycle.
While they don’t have a commitment, they appear to be off to a better start in 2028. In addition to Williams, four-star offensive tackle Tyrie Davis-Winn has scheduled a game visit, and they are among Nation Farmer’s top schools.
