While the Miami Dolphins didn’t turn over much of their defensive line this offseason, they did add rookie Rene Konga to the room after no team took him in the 2026 NFL draft.
Unfortunately, Konga suffered a season-ending injury in training camp, leaving the Dolphins to look for a replacement. On Wednesday, NFL agent Brett Tessler reported that Miami is signing his client Fatorma Mulbah.
Mulbah was a three-star recruit out of Susquehanna Township in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He began his collegiate career at Penn State before transferring to West Virginia, and between the two schools he appeared in 45 games and started 13. He finished with 79 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The 23-year-old spent most of last season with the New York Jets as a member of their practice squad before a brief UFL stint with the Houston Gamblers this year.
Now, Mulbah will compete with Matthew Butler, Alex Huntley and Keith Cooper Jr. for one of the final spots on the 53-man roster or an opportunity on the practice squad throughout camp.
