FSU commit to visit Tallahassee soon

2028 athlete Chayse Brown committed to the FSU Seminoles on June 11, and he will be back on campus soon. The Ruskin, Florida, native announced on Friday that he will be back in Tallahassee on Monday for a camp.

Brown is currently FSU’s only commitment in the 2028 recruiting cycle as the Seminoles are still prioritizing the 2027 class. He committed to the Seminoles a day after they offered him a scholarship and looks poised to be a key recruit.

He has also received offers from the Florida Gators, LSU Tigers, Louisville Cardinals, North Carolina Tar Heels, and more programs across the country. While FSU got the early commitment, they will now have to fight to hold onto it.

Brown is ranked as the No. 625 overall player and No. 29 athlete in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 88 player from Florida.

He played on both sides of the ball at Lennard High School as a junior, but FSU is recruiting him as a defensive back. He finished the year with six tackles and one interception on defense. He also caught 20 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns.
