Florida State lands commitment from 3-star LB

Florida State is continuing to make a little noise on the recruiting trail. After snagging three-star defensive lineman James Carrington on Monday, the Seminoles added another piece on defense for the 2026 cycle. Three-star linebacker Noah LaVallee made his pledge to the program on Tuesday.

LaVallee is the No. 105 linebacker and the nation’s No. 1,245 overall recruit. The 6-foot-1.5, 220-pounder comes in as the No. 133 prospect in the state of Georgia.

Florida State now has 13 commitments in its 2026 class. LaVallee is the second linebacker of the cycle to commit, joining three-star Karon Maycock.

The Seminoles were able to land LaVallee’s older brother Caleb back in January. So, there’s no doubt that played a big part in getting the Marietta, Georgia product to Tallahassee.

LaVallee is coming off a very productive junior season. He registered 124 tackles, eight tackles for loss, one sack, five pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked punt for Walton High School.
