Florida school bus crash sends 4 to hospital, but no students injured

No students were injured in an April 23 bus crash near Fort Pierce, said St. Lucie County sheriff’s officials.

The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. at Hartman and Whiteway Dairy roads between a vehicle and a school bus, said sheriff’s Capt. Andrew Bolonka, who called it a fender bender.

None of the five students on the school bus were injured in the crash, Bolonka said.

All four passengers of the vehicle, which included two children, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, he said.
