Florida football’s matchup at No. 5 Texas A&M on Oct. 11 is scheduled for a night time start at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.
The game will kick off at either 7 p.m. ET, 7:30 p.m. ET or 7:45 p.m. ET and air on either ESPN, ABC or the SEC Network, depending on results on Oct. 4. Texas A&M (4-0, 1-0 SEC) is 12-5 in two seasons under head coach Mike Elko and has pulled off wins over Notre Dame and Auburn so far this season.
The Florida Gators (1-3, 0-1 SEC) are 3-4 all time against Texas A&M and will look to avenge a 33-20 loss to the Aggies at The Swamp on Sept. 14, 2024.
The game will be a homecoming of sorts for Florida starting quarterback DJ Lagway, who is from Willis, Texas, about an hour’s drive from College Station. Lagway was named Gatorade High School player of the year out of Wllis High in Willis, Texas in 2023. In four years and 42 games at Willis High, Lagway completed 569-of-874 passes (.651) for 8,392 yards and 100 touchdowns, while rushing for 2,196 yards in 293 carries with 29 TDs.
