PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Elite Softball Organization celebrated a historic weekend as both its 10U and 12U teams captured championships at the USFA World Series at Publix Sports Park.
The twin titles marked a milestone for the organization, with both teams finishing their tournaments atop their respective divisions.
The 12U squad, coached by retired Arnold softball coach Rick Green, dominated bracket play on its way to the Open Class championship. Florida Elite outscored its opponents 33-8 during the bracket portion of the tournament.
The organization’s 10U team matched that success, going undefeated in bracket play to claim a USFA World Series championship of its own.
