The new Bleu Clarinet restaurant and jazz lounge in Fort Pierce offers Caribbean, Italian and soul food fusion.
Haitian-American brothers Marck Benjamin, a recent New York transplant, and Matthew Benjamin, a longtime Fort Pierce resident, have teamed up to realize a longtime dream of opening a restaurant that “brings soul, mind and spirit together” and “rejuvenates Avenue D back to the music strip it was known for.”
Bleu Clarinet promises high-quality local ingredients and house cocktails served inside or on the outdoor patio for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The restaurant features Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, Bleu Friday with a live band, and Soulful Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 3-9 p.m.
Upcoming special events include Superbown Sunday and a March 5 comedy show. Recent events included blues guitarist Cedrick Talton and an Anita Baker tribute by Muffy Charles.
