Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly texted that deputies were investigating earlier Thursday afternoon, but that the threat was “likely a swatting call.”

Law enforcement investigated the threat and issued an “all clear,” according to the school’s Facebook page.

The school was locked down at 12:52 p.m. and then moved to a “secure status” as the sheriff’s office responded to campus and investigated the threat.

Students returned to normal activity at 1:50 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office social media post.

The investigation is ongoing.

“This is a great example of why we have deputies on every Flagler Schools campus, which allows us to take immediate action to quickly respond to any threat or incident,” the sheriff’s office stated in the post.
