The Flagler Memorial Bridge to Palm Beach island reopened July 2 after being out of service, the town said in an alert.
The bridge, which is the northernmost of the connections between Palm Beach and West Palm Beach, began operating and traffic was flowing smoothly about 11:25 a.m. after the town sent a first alert about the issue at 10:44 a.m., Palm Beach said.
During the bridge closure, the town urged drivers to use alternate routes. There are two other bridges, the Royal Park and Southern Boulevard spans, that drivers can use to travel between the island and West Palm.
Palm Beach officials did not say why the bridge had been out of service.
The Flagler Memorial Bridge connects North Quadrille Boulevard on the west to Royal Poinciana Way on the east.
