Does Spotify actually stop tracking in October?
Nope! Spotify assured users last year in a tweet that the rumor is false, and it does not stop tracking on Oct. 31.
As for when the platform actually stops tracking, there’s no official dat,e but many pinpoint its cutoff for Wrapped around mid-to-late November.
What date does Spotify Wrapped come out?
Spotify has yet to announce when 2025 Wrapped will be released; however, based on previous years, USA TODAY reports that it typically comes out in late November or early December.
Last year, Spotify Wrapped dropped on Dec. 4. In 2023, Wrapped dropped on Nov. 29.
How do I find my Wrapped on Spotify?
According to last year’s instructions, users must update their Spotify to the latest version.
The “Spotify Wrapped” package should appear on the front page of the platform’s iOS and Android apps. Users can expect to see an invitation to view their Wrapped report when they open the app.
Can you edit or change your Spotify Wrapped?
No, you cannot directly edit your Wrapped once it’s created. However, there’s something else you can do before you share your stats on social media and get torn to pieces by friends.
According to CNET, last year, you could make a copy of the playlist. That way, you can delete and add songs as you please before sharing your Spotify Wrapped. Follow the steps below, per CNET:
Users can also enable “Private Session” to prevent any songs or artists from affecting their statistics. Any songs or artists listened to during a private session will not appear in your Wrapped summary.
How long has Spotify been releasing its end-of-year statistics to users?
Spotify Wrapped debuted in 2015 with its “Year in Music” feature, enabling users to see which artists they listened to the most over the previous year. Over the years, the platform has added more graphic design and data personalization features, later changing the name to “Spotify Wrapped.”
