Blue Angels return to headline Wings Over Meridian Air Show 2026

The Blue Angels are gearing up to fly over Meridian, Mississippi, this weekend.

The Wings Over Meridian Air Show, held onboard NAS Meridian, will make March 28-29 one of the city’s busiest weekends of the year. The family-friendly event will feature 16 gravity-defying aerial performances, which will be headlined by the Blue Angels.

The Blue Angels are currently scheduled to perform at 3 p.m. on March 28-29.

The Wings Over Meridian Air Show has a pretty stacked lineup of performers this year. More than a dozen military and civilian aerial acts will dazzle fans, with the Blue Angels headline the show on both days. Here’s a look at the full list of performers:

What’s there to do at the Wings Over Meridian Air Show this year?

While the Blue Angels are undoubtedly the highlight of the Wings Over Meridian Air Show, the show will have a few other things to keep fans preoccupied while they wait for the show to start.

There will be around two dozen military and civilian aircraft scattered around the air show for visitors to peruse. The Dixie Rodders Car Club and Philadelphia Cruisers Car Club will also have their vehicles on display on March 28.

A dedicated kid zone will be on-site and provide two game trucks, a bungee trampoline, a six-seater grand carousel and a mini Ferris wheel.

The air show doesn’t allow outside food or drinks, but there will be a variety of food and beverage booths, according to the event’s website. Beer will also be available for purchase by those age 21 and older with a valid ID.

Wings Over Meridian Air Show tickets

If you want to watch the Blue Angels perform at the Wings Over Meridian Air Show but haven’t bought tickets yet, don’t worry, the general show experience is free for everyone.

Premium seating options are mostly sold out, but Admirals Club seats on Sunday are still available for $193.63. These tickets include a tented shade area, catered lunch, complimentary spirits and beverages and prime viewing along the flightline. More ticket information can be found on the event’s website.

Wings Over Meridian Air Show weather forecast

The weather ahead of the Wings Over Meridian Air Show shouldn’t pose any issues, according to the National Weather Service’s latest forecast.

The high on March 28 will be a cooler 72 degrees compared to the rest of the week’s low-to-mid 80-degree highs. The sun is forecast to be out, but expect a decent breeze, with gusts as high as 25 mph. March 29 will be slightly warmer, with a high near 77 degrees.
