Florida baseball hits the road this weekend for its first-ever three-game series in Norman, Oklahoma, against the Oklahoma Sooners. If you want to catch the SEC action on TV or live stream starting on Friday night, check below for the details you need to know.
The Gators arrive in town on the heels of a two-game losing streak, while also having dropped five of the last six. The Orange and Blue are teetering on the edge of both the Coaches Poll and the D1Baseball rankings at No. 25, but are still projected to be an NCAA Tournament regional host.
The Sooners also sustained a series loss, coming against the Auburn Tigers on the road last weekend, while their matchup with the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock on Thursday was canceled. Oklahoma is tied for 14th in the Coaches Poll while coming in at No. 15 in the D1Baseball rankings.
Florida is ranked No. 17 in the RPI coming into the weekend, while Oklahoma sits right behind them at No. 18. The all-time series record stands at 2-1 in the Sooner’s favor after beating the Gators in the 2022 regionals held in Gainesville.
