It was an encore day for Ashtyn Danley .
The junior two-way star drove in a career-high five runs as No. 12 Florida State wrapped up Senior Weekend with a run-rule victory Sunday, defeating North Carolina 10-2 in five innings to complete a weekend sweep at JoAnne Graf Field.

Danley finished 2 for 4, while Isa Torres added a multi-hit performance and Bella Ruggiero drove in a run as part of Florida State’s 11-hit afternoon.
FSU got on the board in the first inning when Torres singled, advanced on a passed ball and scored on Ruggiero’s RBI single.
UNC tied the game in the third on a Lexie Roberts RBI single, but pitcher Jazzy Francik escaped further trouble by striking out a hitter with the bases loaded.
The Seminoles broke the game open in the fourth inning. Ruggiero and Kennedy Harp opened the frame with back-to-back hits before Hayley Griggs lined a two-run single. Jaysoni Beachum followed with an RBI single, and Danley capped the rally with a three-run homer to push the lead to 7-1.
North Carolina added a run in the fifth on Emily LeGette’s solo home run, but Florida State quickly answered. Harp doubled, Griggs singled and Torres walked to load the bases. Beachum drew a walk to force in a run, and Danley followed with a single to left to score two more and trigger the run-rule ending.
Francik (17-2) earned the win, allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out three over 3 1/3 innings. Danley and Makenna Reid combined for the final 1 2/3 innings in relief, with Danley stopping a North Carolina threat with a strikeout and Reid yielding just one hit.
FSU returns to the Seminole Softball Complex on Wednesday, hosting its rival No. 7 Florida at 6 p.m. in its final home game of the regular season.
