It is time for the final regular season of the 2026 college softball season, and the ACC has come down to two programs. The Florida State Seminoles and Duke Blue Devils have been battling for the top spot all season, and FSU has a chance to clinch the regular-season title this weekend.
Duke is done with ACC play, going 20-4 and currently sits in second. The Seminoles currently sit in first place and are set to play the Boston College Eagles this weekend with an 18-3 conference record. An FSU sweep would win the title, a 2-1 record would send it to tiebreakers, and a series loss would let Duke win back-to-back regular-season championships.
FSU has dominated the all-time series against Boston College, going 49-4, and has won the last four meetings. The series will be in Chesnit Hill, Massachusetts, where the Seminoles are 19-1 and have not lost since 2018.
