Four-star defensive lineman Maleek Lee confirmed with The Herald-Tribune on Monday, July 27, that he will play his senior season at Palmetto, transferring from Booker.
In 2025, the Georgia Tech commit led the 12-2 Tornadoes with 69 tackles and 39 tackles for loss. Last season, Palmetto finished 10-2 under head coach Eric Sanders, who has helped the Tigers to a 19-4 record since taking over in 2024.
Lee’s move to Palmetto comes after former Booker head coach Carlos Woods was dismissed in July. Several players have transferred from the Tornadoes since, including senior linebacker Kymani Sellers, who will also play for Palmetto.
Lee and Sellers will join an already talented roster that boasts three-star cornerback Nazir Pitchford and three-star wide receiver Jok Harris.
