Florida State made an offer to four-star tight end Landen Miree last December. He named the Seminoles in his top 11 in February, and he also took an unofficial visit in April.
FSU would host Miree and a ton of other top recruits last weekend. Once his trip was complete, Miree released his top four schools, and Florida State was named a finalist. He also set his commitment date for July 11.
Miree is the No. 36 tight end in the country and the No. 685 overall recruit. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder is also the No. 28 prospect in the state of Ohio.
In 2024, Miree only played in seven games. However, he made the most of his opportunities. He amassed 404 yards on 29 receptions and scored six touchdowns for Princeton High School in Cincinnati.
Miree has already formed a bond with members of the coaching staff, which is key going into his decision.
“Love the relationship me and Coach Thomsen are building and Coach Gus. He makes sure we stay in contact,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons in February.
The Washington Huskies will get the last visit from Miree before he decides where he’ll play on the collegiate level.
