The NFL season begins when the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles face off on Thursday, Sept. 4, and football fans are already looking toward to the Super Bowl LX.
For Californians, Super Bowl 2026 is especially sweet. It’ll be held at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, home of the San Francisco 49ers, on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026. It’s a stadium still relatively new — the ribbon cutting for the nearly 69,000-seat venue was in 2014, according to the stadium — that’s also been selected to host FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.

When can I get Super Bowl 2026 tickets?
Fans determined to experience the Super Bowl 60 in person can now purchase ticket packages from On Location, the official hospitality provider of the NFL.
“Fans can secure a guaranteed seat location for the Super Bowl through these packages that include premium tickets combined with elevated hospitality, exclusive entertainment including the only official gameday pregame parties on Super Bowl campus, and curated one-of-a-kind experiences that bring you closer than ever to the action on and off the field,” according to a news release from the Levi’s Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 4.
One package option On The Fifty, in which fans can score seating mid-field, is already limited after a priority access window, the news release said.

Also, the NFL distributes tickets to its clubs that then make tickets available for sale to season ticket holders and others, such as partners and sponsors, according to Ticketmaster.
“Closer to the game, fans looking for tickets may visit the NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster, the Official Resale Ticket Marketplace of the NFL, where fans can buy and resell authentic Super Bowl tickets,” Ticketmaster said.
How much are Super Bowl resale tickets?
Prices of Super Bowl resale tickets “often fluctuates drastically based on the game’s location, the matchup, seat location, and date of purchase,” according to Ticketmaster. “Generally, the historical cost of the average Super Bowl resale ticket has ranged between $4,000 and $6,000.”

The Philadelphia Eagles won 40-22 against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59 earlier this year. In 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs faced the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl 58 and won.

The internet is abuzz with the idea that Taylor Swift may be headlining the Super Bowl next year. When asked on the Today show on Sept. 3 whether Swift is invited to play at the halftime show, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the Grammy winner would be “welcome anytime.”

As Billboard reported, Super Bowl halftime performers have been announced in September in the past few years. On Sept. 8, 2024, the NFL posted on X an image of Kendrick Lamar with a simple caption that tagged him and included a hashtag about the halftime show. Toward the end of September in 2022, Rihanna was confirmed as the halftime show performer, USA TODAY reported. And Dr. Dre said on X on Sept. 30, 2021, that he was “excited to share the stage” for the halftime show set for the following year, sharing an image of himself, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Lamar.
