Gui Santos had a breakout 2025-26 season for the Warriors on all accounts, more than doubling his points per game total from a season prior in just 20.5 minutes per contest. Santos finished the year with averages of 9.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks per game. However, Santos was also a clutch finisher late in games.
According to Stat Defender, during the fourth quarter, Santos ranked first in field-goal percentage (81.8%) within the restricted area (minimum 50 attempts). This placed him above some of the league’s most incredible talents, as Rudy Gobert, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James and Nikola Jokic rounded out the top five. While that number might be difficult to improve on, Santos has certainly made the case for more opportunities heading into his fourth NBA season.
