Ever wanted to take the fun of a card game beyond just the playing table? A few lucky people will be able to experience just that in Palm Desert this summer.
The at-times chaotic card game Uno is teaming up with vacation rental company Vrbo to launch six limited-time themed getaways throughout the United States during select weekends. Each home offers a colorful setting for Uno fans to compete, connect and play together during their weekend-long stay.
There are two “Wild Card” and four “Play It Your Way” stays, which includes the Palm Desert property. What makes the getaways even more enticing is, as a nod to the fan-favorite Uno Draw 4 card, all stays will be available for just $4 per night (plus fees) on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Vrbo has always been about friends and families spending real time together on vacation, and partnering with UNO builds on that idea in a simple, playful way,” Helen Melluish, vice president of marketing at Vrbo, said. “While the game of UNO can be full of surprises, guests can trust that these Vrbo properties will be quality places they won’t want to leave.”
Uno-themed vacation rental in Palm Desert
Palm Desert will be home to one of these themed rentals at a property called the Perch, an architectural geodome “perched” atop the mountains. The home was named one of Vrbo’s 2026 Vacation Rentals of the Year.
The home has five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and can house up to 10 guests. The Uno-themed rental will be available Friday, July 17 to Monday, July 20.
As a “Play It Your Way” stay, guests will find an Uno x Vrbo Welcome Kit so that they “can make the experience your own,” according to the website. Each of these getaways include a game room, pool or hot tub and other fun amenities. At Perch, guests will have access to a pickleball court, custom ping-pong table, hammock garden, swimming pool, fire pit, covered outdoor dining and entertainment area.

The two “Wild Card” homes will feature Uno-themed décor, game nights, an Uno x Vrbo Welcome Kit and an in-home dining experience.
Additionally, each of the homes will include a custom deck, featuring illustrations by Pietari Posti inspired by popular travel destinations and vacation pastimes. The deck also have its own custom rule — the Vacation Rental Swap card — which allows players to swap hands with any other player after playing that card.
How to book Uno-themed Vrbo getaways
Listings will be available to book at 10 a.m. PT Friday, May 15 at vrbo.com/uno. They are available on a first come, first served basis, and all listings are available for one three-night stay.
The listings are $4 per night, plus “applicable taxes and fees,” according to Vrbo’s website. (How much are the fees? It doesn’t say. As in a card game’s rules, the devil is in the details.) Each booking has a 10-person limit.
