Comment: The freshman captured two titles in her first time competing at the Ventura County Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Moorpark High. Lambe won the girls 1,600-meter race in 4 minutes, 58.94 seconds, and then won the 800 with a time of 2:19.68. She was named the Coastal Canyon League Runner of the Year after winning the league’s cross country individual title last fall.

Comment: The senior broke his own program record with a leap of 46 feet, 4.75 inches to win the boys triple jump title at the Ventura County Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Moorpark High. The mark is No. 16 in California this year.
