The Class of 2025 at Summit High School reached a major milestone during their graduation ceremony on Monday, June 2.
The ceremony, held at Palm Desert High School, featured Danielle Ramirez leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Elaya Cobb performing the national anthem. Madison Walston delivered the graduation speech, while Amaya De Lara guided the ceremonial turning of the tassels.
Ezra Salgado received the Coachella Valley Community Trust’s Harry Muñoz Jr. Memorial Scholarship, while Martinique Recio was awarded the Walker Clark Legal Group Scholarship.
The alternative school graduated roughly 110 students — with David Baille, Yadira Cheluca-Sixtos, De Lara, Brissa Fernandez Anguiano, Vanessa Flores-Zaca, Lindsy Ibarra, Ashley Lopez-Amaya, Giavanna Perrotta, Ramirez, Recio, Triston Rome and Samara Serafini named as Summit’s top scholars.
