The San Bernardino County Fairgrounds will unleash a variety of events in October, including a home show, monster trucks, a Spanish concert and spooky activities.
The Victorville-based fairgrounds will kick off its October lineup with the 41st Annual High Desert Home and Garden Show. Dates and show times are noon to 5 p.m. on Oct. 3, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 5.
High Desert Home Shows produces two home improvement expos a year, where visitors can chat with a variety of contractors and vendors. The show will include product demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to discover the latest home improvement products.
Admission is $6 for adults. Children under 18 are free with an adult.

Monster Truck Thunder
The ground will rumble and dirt will fly when the fairgrounds hosts fan favorite Monster Truck Thunder, with gates opening at 6 p.m. on Oct. 4.
The engine-roaring event will include trucks doing stunts and flying 30 feet in the air. There will be Tuff Trucks, Quad Racers and Monster Truck rides for the kids. For tickets and more information, visit monstertruckthunder.com.
Spooktacular Skele-Bration
Visitors are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costumes during the bone-chilling “Spooktacular Skele-Bration,” scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 11, at the fairground.
Presented by Nationwide Promotions, the event will include haunted attractions, pumpkin decorating, a haunted house, a kids zone, a trunk-or-treat car show, contests and live entertainment.

Paranormal Cirque
The fairgrounds will unleash a dark world of creatures with incredible circus art abilities when the Paranormal Cirque slithers into Victorville just before Halloween.
During the circus, a group of spooky acrobats, Illusionists, freaks and mysterious creatures will entertain visitors ages 13 and older under the black and red big top, also known as the “Clown Castle.”
Shows are billed as a “crazy yet fun fusion between Circus, theatre, and cabaret in perfect harmony with the evolution of a show that brings you back to when we dream … and when we had nightmares and fantasies.”

Tickets range from $20 to $65. No one under the age of 13 will be admitted to the show. Guests 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Spanish Concert
Fuentez Entertainment will bring a variety of Latino bands during a concert from 7 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 24, at the fairgrounds.
Some of the bands include Grup Libra, Los Yonics Zamacona, Los Caminantes/Augustine Ramirez and Grupo Vennus de Aguililla Michoacán Canta Ernesto Sosa.
