MARSHFIELD – Wisconsin River Orthopaedics is now open in Marshfield.
The Wisconsin Rapids-based business opened its second location April 27 at 120 N. Central Ave. in Marshfield.
Wisconsin River Othopaedics announced the expansion Feb. 24 on its Facebook page. According to the announcement, the clinic has been serving patients who live in the Marshfield area and it’s easier for the center to meet and serve their Marshfield patients where they are than to have their patients travel to the Wisconsin Rapids location.
“We’re looking forward to serving the Marshfield community and providing easier access to orthopedic care close to home,” Wisconsin River Orthopaedics posted in a March 24 update.
According to the clinic’s website, Wisconsin River Orthopaedics opened in 1968 and specializes in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and physical therapy for people ages 4 years and older. The clinic offers on-site occupational and physical therapy and offers an open MRI. The clinic treats foot and ankle, hand and wrist, shoulder and lumbar spine injuries. The team also diagnoses and treats arthritis, back, knee and hip pain, as well as carpal tunnel syndrome. Through its sports medicine focus, the team treats ACL injuries, meniscus tears, tennis elbow, trigger finger, shoulder pain, rotator cuff tears and all types of fractures, according to its website.
The center announced its new clinic officially opened April 27 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For more information, visit wroinstitute.com or find Wisconsin River Orthopaedics on Facebook.
