Two Indio eateries scored “B” grades on their recent Riverside County restaurant inspections, according to reports.
Goody’s Cafe and Indio Tap House/Italica failed their latest inspections due to a number of violations, including improper hot and cold food holding temperatures, improper chlorine sanitizer levels, lack of food separation and more. Both facilities will be reinspected, at which time they will have an opportunity to raise their scores to “A” grades.
Here are the restaurants that were inspected in the Coachella Valley April 24 through 30:
‘B’ grades
Goody’s Cafe, 82-900 Avenue 42, Suite A, Indio
Indio Tap House/Italica, 82-867 Miles Ave., Indio
‘A’ grades
An “A” grade, or a score of 90 to 100 points, means a restaurant passed an inspection and met minimum health standards.
Cathedral City
Indian Wells
Indio
La Quinta
Palm Desert
Palm Springs
Rancho Mirage
Note: No restaurant inspections were reported for businesses in the cities of Coachella and Desert Hot Springs from April 24 through 30.
