Rams re-sign DE Larrell Murchison to 1-year deal

The Los Angeles Rams maintained some needed depth along the defensive line on Monday when they re-signed Larrell Murchison to a one-year deal. They announced the signing Monday afternoon, bringing back the 28-year-old for another season.

Murchison played 16 games for the Rams last season after missing all of 2024 with injury. He recorded two sacks, eight tackles and three quarterback hits, playing a total of 126 snaps on defense, with 44 additional snaps on special teams.

He entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick by the Titans in 2020 after playing at NC State. He spent two-plus years with Tennessee before being released in 2022, which allowed the Rams to claim him off waivers.

He’s remained with the Rams ever since and says he bleeds “blue and yellow for sure.”

Murchison provides some depth behind Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske on the defensive line, though his return shouldn’t prevent the Rams from addressing the position further in the draft.
