Rams 'offensive triplets' among the best in the NFL for 2025

The Los Angeles Rams offense is looking great heading into the 2025 NFL season. Not only is Matthew Stafford back and Davante Adams in tow, but the young corps of running back Kyren Williams and receiver Puka Nacua gives L.A. one of the most dynamic units in the NFL.

Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame agreed. He ranked every NFL team’s “offensive triplets,” which meant their quarterback, top running back and top pass-catcher.

The Rams’ trio of Stafford, Williams and Nacua ranked third on the list. Only the Philadelphia Eagles (Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown) and the Baltimore Ravens (Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers) ranked higher.

“Few teams are more dangerous offensively than the Rams,” Verderame wrote. “Stafford is aging at 37, but he still has a prodigious arm that threw for 3,762 yards and 20 touchdowns in 16 games last year. He’s surrounded by elite talent, headlined by Williams and Nacua, with the former amassing 1,299 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns and the latter nabbing 79 receptions for 990 yards in just 11 contests.”

It’s hard to argue with this, especially when it doesn’t even include Adams, who would normally be on among a team’s offensive trio. Williams can always be a 1,000-yard rusher so long as he’s healthy and Nacua proved in two seasons to be a consistent weapon all over the field.

As long as Stafford remains healthy, the Rams will have one of the best offenses in the NFL in 2025.
