Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found shot inside a pickup truck along Bear Valley Road in Victorville early Saturday.
A report of an unconscious man in a vehicle at about 2:50 a.m. May 9 first drew deputies to the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Fifth Avenue, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Gloria Orejel.
“Deputies arrived and discovered the male suffered from a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased,” she said.
The investigation was turned over to detectives from the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail.
No further details were available as the investigation continued Saturday afternoon.
