A member of the Golden State Warriors for 11 NBA seasons, Klay Thompson recently signed autographs for fans at Fanatics Fest and hinted at a possible return to the Bay Area in the future.
A fan said to Thompson, “We miss you on the Warriors.” To that, the five-time All-Star responded, saying, “Thank you. I know. Never say never.”
Since leaving the Warriors, Thompson hasn’t seen the same success with the Mavericks. Unfortunately for the four-time champion, he was never able to suit up with Luka Doncic in Dallas, a player that Thompson was excited to play off of, given the attention he draws with the ball.
Now on a rebuilding Mavericks squad headlined by Cooper Flagg, Thompson has already been linked to an exit, with this Eastern Conference team being named as a potential suitor.
