A deadly wreck prompted the closure of the northbound 15 Freeway between Victorville and Barstow on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The crash was first reported about 2:25 p.m. on the freeway just south of Hodge Road, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
Initial reports indicated it involved a Dodge Ram pickup truck that had been hauling a trailer and a Nissan Pathfinder
At least one person was thrown from a vehicle in the crash, which left debris strewn across all traffic lanes, logs show.
All northbound lanes were initially shut down, but the No. 1 lane was reopened about 3:40 p.m.
All lanes were cleared just after 7 p.m.
