Designed for budding naturalists in grades K-10, The Living Desert’s three-day ZooCamps are a hands-on gateway to the wonders of the natural world. Watch your child’s curiosity soar as they engage in exciting wildlife adventures, from up-close animal encounters to creative arts and crafts. Palm Springs Juneteenth Freedom Weekend Celebration

The City of Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Black History Committee proudly invite residents and visitors to an unforgettable weekend honoring history, heritage and freedom. This free three-day community celebration kicks off Thursday at 7 p.m. at Village Fest and continues Friday at 5 p.m. at Downtown Park and concludes with a Juneteenth Youth Pageant on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the James O. HRC Bowling for Equality

Presented by the Human Rights Campaign. This annual event is evolving into a broader community gathering bringing together Coachella Valley organizations, advocates, allies, and community members for fun, connection and support. 5-7 p.m., Palm Springs Lanes, 68-051 Ramon Road, Cathedral City. $50 standard ticket includes bowling, shoes, lane fees an HRC Membership plus pizza and beverages with your assigned team. $300 lane buyout is for teams of 6 and includes bowling, shoes, lane fees, one pizza and two pitchers of soft drinks plus an HRC membership for each attendee. SATURDAY, JULY 11, 2026

“All Out” summer dance party

The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert invites you to revisit the ’90s as it presents the second annual “All Out” summer dance party, an inclusive event for the Coachella Valley’s LGBTQ+ community that will feature a live DJ and dancers, a mix of ’90s retro and other favorite dance hits, cocktails and mocktails and light bites to eat. Presented by Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert, this full-weekend event kicks off with a welcome party Friday at the Tool Shed in Palm Springs. $100 weekend pass includes both Bloom parties as well as full access to Club 541 for all open hours, $60 for single day pass for one Bloom party. 17th annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show & Luncheon

Benefiting Animal Samaritans, this event has grown into one of the Coachella Valley’s most celebrated philanthropic traditions, a sold-out afternoon of fashion, laughter and generosity that in 2025 drew more than 500 guests and raised nearly $300,000.
