Ventura County Fire spokesman Andrew Dowd confirmed the fire but because of the evolving nature of the blaze did not have much information on what was happening.

As of 2:15 p.m., the fire was holding at 2-3 acres, according to fire reports.

The agency had deployed engines and other apparatus to the site of the fire dubbed the “Library fire.”
