A number of Coachella Valley restaurants failed their Riverside County health inspections this past week, according to reports.
Vicky’s of Santa Fe in Indian Wells, Allende Restaurant (both locations) and Kowloon Chinese Food in Indio, and Harmony Coffee in Palm Desert scored “B” grades on their inspections. Inspectors noted a number of violations, including cockroaches, improper handwashing, improper hot and cold food holding temperatures and more.
Each location will be revisited and rescored in the coming day — inspectors already reinspected Allende Restaurant, located at 82-915 Avenue 44, and gave it an “A” grade.
