From harvest parties to haunted houses, there’s plenty of fun and scary events planned for Halloween-week in the High Desert.
Stu Miller’s Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch in Hesperia kicked off the festivities earlier this month and will continue until Halloween night.
Considered one of the biggest High Desert pumpkin patches, Stu Miller’s Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch will continue to operate until 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 13445 Avenal St., near Mariposa Road and Interstate 15 in Hesperia.
Besides pumpkins, Stu’s Pumpkin Patch also has mechanical rides, blow-up slides, obstacle courses, bounce houses, a petting zoo and a train.
The pumpkin patch is open Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sundays 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For ticket prices and more information, visit Seasonaladventures.com.
Texas Roadhouse Trunk-or-Treat
Texas Roadhouse in Hesperia will host a Trunk-or-Treat from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, at 9601 Mariposa Road. The event will include candy, games, music and vendors.
Calico Ghost Town
The Ghost Haunt: Terror Under the Big Top at Calico Ghost Town’s second weekend starts on Halloween night, Friday, Oct. 31, through Sunday, Nov. 2.
Ghost haunting activities include pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, costume contests for all ages, campsite decorating contests and more. For haunting hours and more information, visit parks.sbcounty.gov.
High Desert BMX Trunk-or Treat
High Desert BMX will host a Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween Pumpkin Roll Contest after racing at 17427 Live Oak Street in Hesperia. Set up starts at 4 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Granite Hills High School’s Harvest Festival
The Granite Hills High School Cougar Theatre group will host its 3rd Annual Harvest Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the staff parking lot at 22900 Esaws Road in Apple Valley. A $5 cash entry includes a trunk-or-treat, haunted house, carnival games, costume party, access to food trucks and more.
Barstow Community Hospital’s Trunk-or-Treat
Barstow Community Hospital will host a Trunk-or-Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 30, at the hospital’s employee parking lot at 820 E. Mountain View St.
Halloween Line Dancing at Desert Valley Senior Wellness Center
Desert Valley Senior Wellness Center will host a Line Dancing and Costume Contest at 2 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 19181 Town Center Drive in Apple Valley. To register, call 760-381-8950.
First Assembly Harvest Party in Victorville
Victorville First Assembly of God will conduct its inaugural Harvest Party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 15260 Nisqualli Road. The family-friendly party will include over 100 cars for trunk-or-treat, food trucks, local vendors, a photo booth and more.
Hope House Halloween Trunk-or-Treat & Car Show
The Victor Valley won’t be the same when the Inaugural Hope House Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and Car Show hits Hospital Hill.
The safe and festive Halloween celebration is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, at Hope House Empowerment Center,15201 11th Street in Victorville.
Sponsored by Family Assistance Program, the event will also include free candy, activities and a Best Decorated Car Contest.

The Lucerne Valley Moose Lodge #2096 will host several events at the lodge at 31878 Laramie Street.
A kid’s Trick-or-Treat party is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, with candy, costumes parade and craft tables. Also, an Adult Halloween Party at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. The party includes a potluck, music, costume contest, prizes and more.
Hallelujah Night at The Church of Whosoever
The Church of Whosoever will host Hallelujah Night from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 18628 Seneca Road in Apple Valley. The event will include free hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, games and a trunk-or-treat.
Church of the Valley’s Trunk-or-Treat
Church of the Valley’s Fall Festival from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, will include a trunk-or-treat, candy, food, games, an obstacle course and more. The church is located at 20700 Standing Rock Ave. in Apple Valley.
Heritage Victor Valley’s Trunk-or-Treat in Victorville
Heritage Victor Valley’s annual Trunk-or-Treat is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 12370 Hesperia Road in Victorville. The event will include candy, music, a maze, prizes, vendors and a Ghostbusters photo opportunity.
New Life Chapel’s Harvest Festival
New Life Chapel in Hesperia will host its annual Harvest Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 10184 7th Avenue. The event includes a trunk or treat, candy, carnival games, bounce houses and food trucks.
Calvary Chapel High Desert’s Hallelujah Night
Calvary Chapel High Desert will host Hallelujah Night from 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 14740 Eucalyptus St. in Hesperia. The family-friendly event includes candy, games, food, music and more.
Life Point Baptist’s Fall Festival
Life Point Baptist’s Fall Festival is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, at 12247 Navajo Road in Apple Valley.
