Chargers place Denzel Perryman on injured reserve, make additional roster moves

The Chargers made a few roster moves ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the Raiders on Monday night.

Los Angeles placed linebacker Denzel Perryman on injured reserve. Perryman is currently dealing with an ankle injury he sustained in the regular-season opener against the Chiefs.

In correspondence, L.A. signed to long snapper Rick Lovato to the 53-man roster.

Additionally, they elevated safety Tony Jefferson and linebacker Kana’i Mauga from the practice squad.

These moves come after Elijah Molden was ruled out with a hamstring injury and Daiyan Henley was added to the injury report with an illness on Monday.
