A fire burned through about four acres of brush, palm trees and several structures in Desert Hot Springs on Sunday, August 2.
The fire was reported around 7 a.m. at the 18-000 block of Bubbling Wells Road and 67-500 block of 18th Avenue. Cal Fire said it had accounted for and evacuated everyone in the outbuildings that were involved in the blaze. The fire agency did not report any injuries.
The spread of the fire had been stopped, according to Watch Duty, a wildfire-monitoring service.
Southern California Edison deenergized downed power lines at the scene, Cal Fire said. The fire agency added that crews were expected to stay at the scene for about four hours. It was investigating what caused the fire.

Cal Fire did not announce any evacuations, other than those it already conducted, as of Sunday morning.
