The Golden State Warriors have a history of developing second-round draft picks, and Gui Santos is no exception. A former No. 55 overall pick in 2022, Santos has taken advantage of increased opportunities from season to season.
During his third year, Santos took a big jump, becoming a vital part of Steve Kerr’s rotation. Last season, the Brazilian forward averaged 9.2 points to go along with 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks in 20.5 minutes per game, all of which were career highs. With no major free agent additions to this point, the 24-year-old will receive plenty of consideration for an extended role during the 2026-27 campaign.
