Police are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man Monday in Stockton.
Police said officers were called at about 1:15 a.m. to the 400 block of West Weber Avenue on a report of a person shot.
At the scene, the teen was found near a parking lot area suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said he was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The identity of the 18-year-old was not immediately released.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation, police said.
As of Monday, police said there was not a known motive or suspect description in connection with the shooting.
The man’s death marked the city’s 14th homicide this year compared to 18 at the same time in 2025.
