For football, music and commercial fans, Super Bowl LX is nearly here — taking place in February with Puerto Rican rapper-singer Bad Bunny performing as the halftime headliner.
As the NFL season wraps up and playoffs begin, two teams will play in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
In September 2025, the Latin Grammy award-winning artist Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner.
Bad Bunny has gained worldwide attention for his rap-reggaeton music, fashion and acting. For the upcoming 2026 Grammy awards, he has been nominated for record and album of the year, for his “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos album, released in January 2025.
The NFL playoffs begin with 14 teams, seven in NFC playoffs and seven in the AFC playoffs.
The top AFC seed and the top NFC seed get a bye into the second round of the NFL postseason.

When the Super Bowl LX air?
The Super Bowl is scheduled to air at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026. It will be the second time the Super Bowl has been held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California (2016).

Super Bowl halftime show in 2026: Who is Bad Bunny?
The artist named Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, or Bad Bunny, rose to fame after several successful singles from 2016-18 that lead to his first Grammy nomination for his part in the song, “I Like it,” with artists Cardi B and J Balvin, in 2019, according to Biography.com.
In December 2020, Spotify announced Bad Bunny as its Artist of the Year with more than 8.3 billion streams. Since, the artist has appeared on Saturday Night Live, was invited to the 2025 Met Gala and most recently played a part in the 2025 movie, “Caught Stealing,” alongside Austin Bulter.
Though he wasn’t the headliner, this will be Bad Bunny’s second halftime show appearance; he joined Shakira and Jennifer Lopez on stage for the 2020 show.
Has Bad Bunny ever toured in Michigan?
Yes. In 2024, the artist played at the Little Ceasars Arena in Detroit during his “Most Wanted Tour.”
Since, Bad Bunny has been touring around the world on his 2025-26 “DeBÍ TiRAR Más FOtos World Tour,” following the release of his sixth studio album, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos.”
