Vote! Who should be Daily Tribune athlete of the week for April 20-25?

It’s time to vote for the Cheboygan Daily Tribune’s Athlete of the Week.    

Each week, Cheboygan-area high school athletes will be eligible for the athlete of the week honor. Athlete of the week polls go live on Monday and voting closes at 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Here’s this week’s nominees:  

Jacob Pluszczynski, Cheboygan Boys Golf – Tied for 10th place individually by shooting an 86 at the Kalkaska Invitational.  

Tanner Howard, Inland Lakes Boys Track and Field – Finished first in the 400 (53.43) and high jump (5-8.5) at the Mancelona Invitational.  

Ella Kruczynski, Mackinaw City Softball – Tossed a no-hitter with five strikeouts and recorded two hits and two RBIs in game one against Wolverine.  

Landon Busbee, Onaway Baseball – Went 3-for-4 with four RBIs against Central Lake.  

Ella Klungle, Pellston Softball – Recorded four hits and two RBIs in game one against Gaylord St. Mary.  

Ellie Schepperley, Burt Lake NMCA Softball – Finished with three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored in game one against Harbor Light.
