HILLSDALE COUNTY — Spring sports postseason awards continue after track and field Athlete of the Year honorees were chosen and voted for. Now, it’s time to name the reader’s choice Player of the Year honoree for the 2025 softball season.
The three nominees are in the running for the Hillsdale Daily News Choice Softball Player of the Year honor. One of the three athletes will win that honor, another will be named runner-up and the last will earn honorable mention honors.
Athletes were chosen after considering performances from both the regular season and postseason games this spring and narrowed down to three honorees.
All three honorees will be a member of the 2024-25 softball dream team, releasing with our full 2024-25 calendar year dream team awards after player of the year honors have been chosen for baseball and softball.
This voting poll will be open until 11:59 a.m., Sunday, June 29. Readers can vote multiple times. Polls will be monitored for foreign IP addresses, and restrictions may be put in place for any foreign IP addresses used for voting. The Daily News’ official choice honoree for Player of the Year will be announced after polls have closed.
