HILLSDALE COUNTY — Spring sports postseason awards continue after track and field Athlete of the Year honorees were chosen and voted for. Now, it’s time to name the Player of the Year honorees for the 2025 baseball season.
Three nominations were chosen from the list of athletes that will be in the running for the Hillsdale Daily News Choice Baseball Player of the Year honor. One of the three athletes will win that honor, another will be named runner-up and the last will earn honorable mention honors.
Athletes were chosen after considering performances from both the regular season and postseason games this spring and narrowed down to three honorees, all of whom either helped their team to a winning record or won championships in the playoffs or regular season.
All three honorees will be a member of the 2024-25 baseball dream team, releasing with our full 2024-25 calendar year dream team awards after player of the year honors have been chosen for baseball and softball. In addition, readers can vote below for their pick for the Reader’s Choice Baseball Player of the Year, voting from the pool of three nominees.
This voting poll will be open until Friday, June 27 at 11:59 p.m. Readers can vote multiple times. Polls will be monitored for foreign IP addresses, and restrictions may be put in place for any foreign IP addresses used for voting. The Daily News’ official choice honoree for Player of the Year will be announced after polls have closed.
