Detroit — The Tigers are coming home.

The Tigers on Wednesday announced their pregame festivities for Opening Day:

Before and during Friday’s game, there will be a free Opening Day block party outside of Comerica Park, opening at 9 a.m. There will be food trucks and bars, DJs and artists, appearances from Paws, and interactive games. The Detroit SportsNet broadcast of the game will air on multiple screens. The Tigers are also hosting a march to Comerica Park, starting at Campus Martius Park at 10:30 a.m., and including Paws, the Tigers’ drumline and the Tigers’ energy squad.

All Tigers tickets this season are digital. Fans on Friday are encouraged to download their tickets from the MLB Ballpark app before arriving downtown, as cellular service could be spotty given the large crowd. All bags, purses and clutches are prohibited. Small wallets are permitted.
