PETOSKEY — Friday nights will be busy in downtown Petoskey this summer, with the Sounds of Summer concert series and Movies in the Park at Dark returning in July.
The weekly free events take place in Pennsylvania Park.
The Sounds of Summer’s third season, organized by the Blissfest Music Organization and Downtown Petoskey, will include five concerts, which will start at 7 p.m. on Fridays from July 18 through Aug. 15.

You should stick around after the concerts, because Movies in the Park at Dark will start at 9 p.m. every Friday night from July 18 to Aug. 15.
People are welcome to bring blankets, chairs and snacks to enjoy the family-friendly movies.
