Rock band Daughtry with special guest Mammoth are the concert performers for the 2026 Monroe County Fair, the fair association announced this morning, April 10.
Daughtry is fronted by Chris Daughtry, who was a finalist on the fifth season of “American Idol.” Mammoth is fronted by Wolfgang Van Halen, son of late musician Eddie Van Halen.
The fair concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, August 8 at the fairgrounds, 3775 S. Custer Road in Monroe. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, April 17.
“This is a pretty big deal for Monroe for sure. We are stoked to be bringing what we believe could be the largest rock event to the fair to date. We have worked with both Daughtry and Wolfie Van Halen (Mammoth). Both are top-of-the-charts and both are class acts,” said Maybee native Hunter Brucks of HB Concerts Inc., music promoter and producer with offices in Monroe County and Nashville, Tennessee.
“We are excited to bring a rock show back to the Monroe County Fair. There is a lot of talent between Daughtry and Mammoth, and we are looking forward to a night of great entertainment. Our last rock show was in 2022, when Telsa and FireHouse performed,” said Darryl Diamond, fair manager.
“We are thrilled to be working alongside locally owned HB Concerts Inc. with Hunter Brucks and his team. This is the first time since 2018 that we have worked with Hunter, and we are glad to have him along with his team back,” Diamond added.
Tickets are $75 for general admission track (standing) and $65 for reserved grandstand seats. Ticket prices do not include gate admission. Gate admission for 2026 is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under with parents. Tickets can be purchased online here or from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays at the fair office, 3775 S. Custer Road in Monroe.
The 2026 Monroe County Fair runs Aug. 2-8. Brantley Gilbert was the concert headliner for the 2025 fair.
