Muskegon Western Michigan Christian now Division 4's No. 1 in latest girls soccer rankings

There was a major jump in this week’s Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association girls soccer rankings for May 11.  

And it came in Division 4.

Previously ranked No. 2, Muskegon Western Michigan Christian is now the No. 1-ranked team in Division 4, jumping Royal Oak Shrine Catholic, which was ranked No. 1 over the last few weeks. Royal Oak Shrine Catholic is now No. 2.

As for the rest of the divisions, Saline (D1), Hudsonville Unity Christian (D2) and Essexville Garber (D3) all maintained their No. 1 spots.  

There wasn’t a ton of movement in Division 1, as Portage Central moved up one spot to No. 5, while Utica Eisenhower dropped a spot to No. 6.  

Bloomfield Hills Marian moved two spots up to No. 2 in Division 2, Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central fell three spots to No. 6 and New Boston Huron moved up to No. 5.  

Brooklyn Columbia Central moved one spot up to No. 4 in Division 3, while Grand Rapids Catholic Central fell three spots to No. 7.  

In Division 4, Kalamazoo Christian moved up two spots to No. 4, while Clarkston Everest Collegiate fell four spots to No. 8, and Harbor Springs dropped three spots to No. 11.
