The Michigan Department of Transportation will be inspecting and cleaning three Northern Michigan bridges later this month.
According to MDOT, the bridges will be cleaned of sand and salt to prevent corrosion. On the dates the bridges are set for inspection, there will be single-lane closures with traffic shifts. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
